1. Beware of Sales. Unless you’re a natural born salesperson and have a passion for it, avoid the business opportunity that forces you to sell. You’ll end up hating it, and the neighbors, friends, and family members that you try and convince to buy your product will wind up resenting you.

2. Beware of Inventory. This is ancillary to the first commandment. Many home based business opportunities require that you invest in inventory. Remember, you want to make money, not spend it on inventory. Moreover, you don’t want to deal with the hassles and headaches of storing products, fulfilling orders, and shipping products.

3. Embrace Support. The home based business opportunity you choose should offer a comprehensive support program. This should mean that the company has a step-by-step training manual, online courses, and wonderful support staff who are available to answer any and every question you may have. The company should also provide you with materials such as templates, samples, and anything else you need to get started.

4. Flexibility is Key. Whatever business opportunity you choose, it needs to be one that’s flexible. If you hook up with a company that insists you put in a certain number of hours each week, it’s no better than working an eight-hour shift and having a boss. The idea is that you own your own business and that you have the ability to choose whether to work at your own pace, whether that’s part time or full time.

5. Carry it Forward. For your first home based business, choose a company that can teach you skills and strategies that you’ll be able to use in your future endeavors. Your first home based business probably won’t be your last, so it’s important to learn all that you can in order to succeed in the future.

Nowadays there are people willing to start a business online without having the sense what running a business is all about.
A business is something you plan and doesn’t come free by only registering your company. Once registering is done you can’t sit back and wait till money is coming in. Off course ads and other sources can tell us that money is coming in when you have signed up for something but it doesn’t work that way. A business owner has to face a lot of bad things opposed to the good things a business can bring. To cope with all these influences you need to stand strong and have a determination to reach your goals.
Then there is another factor that you can make money free without doing anything. Doing business is hard work and is surely not limited to a 9 to 5 job.

When a normal business day is over, then there are other tasks to perform to carry out your business as usual. I mention administration, networking, taking care of your customers and other work that keeps your business going. A common working week for a business owner can easily take up more than 60 hours and is not limited from Monday till Friday.
Every business has to invest in order to succeed. Yes, there are many resources on the internet that you can use for free but for a good result you need to invest to secure your turnover on a later stage.

A business can’t be build by having a separate room and a computer alone. Off course if you have these things already then you have made a start but it is necessary to invest time, effort and money to succeed.

When plan A don’t work, go to plan B

Funny how things use to upset me when plan A didn’t work but I have learned that it’s not worth getting upset – just go to plan B and move on (and sometimes I have to go to plan C, D and E lolol) – just don’t give up that is the key.

Many know that I own/operate traffic exchanges, text ad exchanges and PTC – well the main URL for the Infinity Downline caused a framebreak on my sites – so members were not getting to view my page – so thus plan B.

Tonight, I solved this problem and you know how something positive comes out of something bad – well here it is – as I was desiging a splash page that would not cause a framebreak on my sites, I wound up making a page that will continue to help me brand myself and be different that the main URL – my good out of the bad – woohoo

Here is what I wound up making and it works great.

You are never too old to learn

After being up for 24 hours, I’m on my wind-down and thought I’d put my thoughts down before heading to bed. You have heard the saying that your world can turn on a dime – well mine has.

Most of you that know me that I have been working online for a couple years now trying to learn what I can to make some money.

I was one of the people that worked hard all my life, put away for a rainy day and did things right and SHOCK – in a day the money was gone just like everyone else in the stock market. So instead of being able to retire and start drawing on my IRA at the age 59 – I’m working more hours than I ever did trying to get that secure feeling back in my life again.

Not knowing where to start, I started like most with Ebay and that help me to keep paying the bills also gave me the opportunity to get rid of some of the clutter that had been sitting around the house lol. I won’t bore you with the roller coaster that my life has taken but will tell you that no matter how prepared you think you are things can change quickly.

I have been attending as many webinars, googling everything I can to learn, meeting people from all over and came to the conclusion that I LOVE being on the net. The last two years I feel that I have obtained a lot of the right pieces but just not sure how to put them together to complete the puzzle till this last week.

I have always been a social butterfly so getting on facebook, myspace and on about every social site out there has just been great for me. They say people come into your life for a reason – BELIEVE IT.

Over the last years, I have met people that taught me about traffic exchanges, text ad sites, PTC, solos, html coding, squeeze pages, splash pages, hot links, keywords, bloggin, – all completely unknown to me 3 years ago. And yes, I even learn to play a mean game of pool on Pogo

Anyway, I was heading to Facebook to play Mafia (that’s where I go for my lunch & supper breaks) – Cory IM and asked if I’d like to attend a webinar – and after being in so many I thought great another one – what’s this one going to be selling and pushing down my throat. So that was my question back to him – what you selling and he said nothing – so that got my attention. He said just a group of business and marketing people getting together and brainstorming –   Online Masterminds Group. My first thought was oh no masterminds – way out of my league but I decided to check it out.

Talking about my life turning on a dime again – here was a group of people from all walks of the business chatting about how to help others succeed – they wanted to share their knowledge with others so that they didn’t have to make the same mistakes they had or waste all the time they had. I was in shock to hear this – this just don’t happen – there has to be a catch somewhere or the price for all this was sure going to be way more than I had. Next Shock – they were offering this and not trying to sell me anything. Where was this group 2 years ago??????? I just said God

When I joined the facebook group. and there was over 1100 when I joined – there is over 1900 as I write this – now we are talking days – it hasn’t even been a week yet – this kind of growth in that period of time – that is just amazing.

Then I was introduced in their live Skype Chat Group and what a welcome. All these people were REAL – they were excited about what they had planned, they had a goal, they had a dream – and after awhile in with them I could see the potential – a ground level opportunity to finally get the answers that I had been looking for so that I could put my puzzle together.

If you have struggled like I have, been ripped off like have, been on brain overload like I have – then join me and this wonderful group – you won’t be sorry. I do have to add that things are NOT going to server to you on a silver platter, they are NOT going to do the work for you – YOU will have to want to succeed and if you are not to that point – then you should just keep hopping around trying this and that and when you get tired – look us up – we’ll still be here. BUT IF YOU ARE READY, then you have found what you have been looking for – the tools, the knowledge, the help that you NEED to finally succeed. Don’t be shy.

I just wanted to tell you about this awesome group of people that I have met and am learning so much from. Blind Boy

Here is another one of those that should be shared – the moral of the story is wonderful.

A blind boy sat on the steps of a building with a hat by his feet.. He held up a sign which said : ‘I am blind, please help.’ There were only a few coins in the hat.

A man was walking by. He took a few coins from his pocket and dropped them into the hat. He then took the sign, turned it around, and wrote some words.

He put the sign back so that everyone who walked by would see the new words.

Soon the hat began to fill up. A lot more people were giving money to the blind boy. That afternoon the man who had changed the sign came to see how things were.

The boy recognized his footsteps and asked, ‘Were you the one who changed my sign this morning? What did you write?’

The man said, ‘I only wrote the truth.  I said what you said but in a different way.’


What he had written was : ‘Today is a beautiful day and I cannot see it.‘

Do you think the first sign and the second sign were saying the same thing?

Of course both signs told people the boy was blind. But the first sign simply said the boy was blind.

The second sign told people they were so lucky that they were not blind.. Should we be surprised that the second sign was more effective?

Moral of the Story:  Be thankful for what you have.  Think differently and positively.
 
Live life with no excuse and love with no regrets.

When life gives you a 100 reasons to cry, show life that you have 1000 reasons to smile.

Face your past without regret.

Handle your present with confidence.

Prepare for the future without fear.

Keep the faith and drop the fear.

The most beautiful thing is to see a person smiling…

And even more beautiful is, knowing that you are the reason behind it!!!
