Remembering my Bailey

Some say that you can’t make close friends online with people that you have not physically meet – well I have to disagree and let me tell you – I sometimes think that these people know you better than your off-line friends as they work with you everyday, you are there for each other and that is what building relationships are about.

As most of you know I lost my Bailey this last weekend and here is my blog post Losing your best friend

Ellen who is my partner in crime on here wrote a nice tribute to Bailey on her blog Ode to Bailey

Then my dear friend Kevan from the UK made this awesome framed picture for me – just had to share

So the next time someone tells you that you can’t make real friends online with people that you have never met – well tell them that I said it’s bull crap – I have proof with all the messages that I got yesterday, all the hugs that came thru Skype, all the calls, IM and emails  – this is real people if you just take the time to get to know the people that you add as friends.

Last but not least I would love to share something a dear, dear friend Azar did for me and to me this is priceless – the message is little soft in the beginning but worth turning up your speakers for – http://play.goldmail.com/33km4htv7ipg

Thanks everyone for all your support – it’s all of you that has helped get me thru all this ((((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))))))

    • Thanks Susie and I know I’m very blessed and it’s times like this that really show me just how lucky I really am.

  2. Nancy, Yes I agree with you. The friends I’ve made online and within our team mean everything to me and I’ve realized in ways (important ways) we do know each other better as far as our businesses go but in other areas too. We are as close as we are because we all work together and our work online for many of us is something our offline friends and family cannot perceive because they are not a part of it. I so agree, and am very thankful for my online friends!

I saw many of the responses you received, and it made my heart smile to see all your friends rush in with sincere hearts and empathy and were there for you. I saw the videos and they made me cry, but because they were so touching and heartfelt. And BEAUTIFUL! And I felt your pain as everyone else did.

Yes, online friends are very important to us and we all understand why. Bailey not only lives in your heart, but in our hearts too along with our feelings for you.

    Love ya Nancy!

    • Oh I agree Carol – I don’t know that if it’s the person behind the screen can’t judge you by your looks, how much money you have or by the clothes you wear – I think what is so great they like you for you as a person and your personality – thanks for the kinds words and love you too (((((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))))))

  3. I couldn’t agree more. Friends are people that are there for you always. They don’t have to live next door to you, just live inside you. And that is something we learn from our pets! It’s unconditional. I love Kevin’s picture, it’s wonderful!

    Hugs…

  4. My loving friend! I know exactly the pain and emptiness you are feeling; and will continue to feel for sometime to come. The wonderful memories…and the special Love that Bailey gave you, will help to ease the pain. We do have such a special bond with our online friends. When I lost my baby Angel; the Love, Prayers and support I received were overwhelming. Most of you barely even knew me at that time. We are truly Blessed to have our online friends.
